Long over due for a new bathhouse.
This park has the nastiest bathrooms I have ever seen! My children and I walked in to take a shower, took a quick look around and walked right back out. Someone with an RV was kind enough to let us use their outside spigot and we washed up in our bathing suits. I have a special needs child and the Handicap Accessible shower was broken anyways. Actually 2 of the 3 showers were broken, missing shower heads and or handles.
This lady is complaining about primitive camping with a special needs family. Go back to Koa and buy an RV if you want marble bathroom floors and no bugs.
Gates open at 7:00 I was told to call once here called no answer finally after calling for 30 min the ranger answer cussing me out about how I should call once and wait to be called back because he was in the freaking bathroom or could be on the freaking phone I mean I could be freaking busy all this while my wife and kids listen over the cars Bluetooth what a great way to start off the first day of vacation
The natural beauty of this place is astounding! However, maintenance and upkeep are severely lacking. I will NEVER camp here again.
i went back and went camping last weekend and i saw a disterbing sight and it was a bunch of dead fish at the camsite
It's a terrible shame this place isn't taken better care of.
Tent pads are overgrown and full of ants. We've been camping for years and we understand that there are bugs and things in nature but I have never seen camping grounds with such a bad ant problem.
